Our Processes
Check out our processes below to understand the work which goes into our projects

Pre-Flight Planning
Applicable when flying our drones, in line with our license regulations, CAA regulations, and Aviation Laws, we must complete neccessary paperwork before flying. We understand that drones can be looked at as 'toys' but there's much more risk involved, especially when flying around people, within certain restricted airspaces, and around people. This page will give you better insight into understanding the work involved just before we take our drones up into the skies, and how these processes tie in with your project quote.

Shot List Prep
In order to create a great end-deliverable result for you, it's important that we plan.
The famous saying: prior prep prevents awful results - couldn't be more true!
When we first begin a project, alongside the Pre-Flight Planning, we find it VITAL to create a detailed shot list & storyboard plan for what we're going to create for you. Sure we could rock up and just shoot anything, but we'd rather deliver you something with substance that has preparation and thought-out intention behind it. On this page you'll be taken through our shot list and prep process to find out what work goes into the creative plan!

Editing Process - Images
After a photoshoot, you may have opted for 'Image Edits'. This is the process of taking the image on a journey from original-look, to a perfectly crafted end result. You might think this is easy - when editing, just press a button and brighten up the image; but this couldn't be further from the truth! Creating an accurate image takes time and attention detail. Every separate element of the photograph needs to be adjusted & tweaked separately to ensure a balanced and colour-correct end result. From the shadows, to the highlights, to the sky, & the main subject, each area of the photograph needs to be light-painted separately to create the perfect result.

Editing Process - Videos
The process of editing videos can be one that's quite complex to understand. When shooting with professional cameras, the format of these videos is shot in a Grey RAW format. This format means that the footage is super colourless and grey looking - not what you want to post online!
The footage is shot in this way to give the most dynamic range to the shots, which is especially important when editing, to deliver the best results. When editing content for our clients, the first step is to create the edit to the music with the footage in its natural state. Then once the main edit is complete, we must process the RAW footage to make it look more naturally coloured, and from here we finetune the details in each individual clip to ensure it looks its best.
